During this year’s ISICIP Congress, being held in Barcelona on 7-8 November, the Homi-Lung team came together to discuss the latest developments in our European project. Most of the participants connected to the meeting online, while the local team in Barcelona was deeply involved in the congress celebration. The Homi-Lung promotional materials were showcased during the event.

The ISICIP Congress, a premier event for intensive and critical care innovation, provided the perfect setting for our team to connect, update, and strategize. The meeting included key insights on our research progress, including the start of patient recruitment for one of our clinical trials—a significant milestone that brings us closer to understanding these complex disease interactions. Unpublished data shared at the meeting also showed promising early results, affirming the project’s impact and paving the way for future developments.
In addition to research advancements, we’re excited to introduce new promotional materials that aim to engage and inform both the scientific community and the public. These resources will help raise awareness of Homi-Lung’s mission and support the dissemination of our work throughout Europe.

Our shared efforts focus on deciphering the links between cardiovascular and respiratory disease progression and immune and microbiome changes observed during and after pneumonia. Stay tuned for more updates as we work towards groundbreaking discoveries that will benefit patient care and improve our understanding of pneumonia’s long-term effects on the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
